A boy with MDVI has his head massaged in a mindfulness session

Over a five year period The Royal Blind School have embedded Mindfulness into the daily lives of the pupils. We have developed a Mindfulness programme that adheres to the needs of the pupils and we have been able to observe how the pupils have responded and changed over these years. The impact on the pupils has been significant and has dramatically improved their wellbeing.

This FREE course will focus on both the theory of Mindfulness and the practicality of putting together a programme for pupils with vision impairment and those with additional/complex needs*. Participants will have the opportunity to learn by taking part in mindful activities as well as sharing ideas, theory and practice.
