    A young person with vision impairment on a bus

    Do you support blind or partially sighted children and young people? Would you like to help them learn the skills to become more independent?

    This free course uses methods from different disciplines and fields to look at strategies and ideas to promote independent living skills for children and young people with vision impairment.

    • You will come away with increased confidence and practical knowledge of the range of skills your young person needs for everyday activities.

    This interdisciplinary course is suitable for those with a role in supporting blind and partially sighted children and young people working towards independence.

    The course will be taught by experienced staff from The Royal Blind. There will be opportunity for questions and discussions.

    Morning coffee and lunch will be provided.
